Our expert CRST certified remedial surveyors will arrange a convenient time to visit, ideally with the home owner, and then prepare a comprehensive report identifying defects, areas, rooms and whole property if required.
The survey only cost starts from £149+vat, based on an up to 3 bed, general semi detached house and £249+vat for an up to 4 bed detached house.
It is worth noting that survey fees can be offset from completed work.
So why pay for a survey?
Why pay for a remedial survey when many damp proofing companies offer these services for free? It can be their intention to just highlight the defects they prefer to repair, setting aside some of the more important defects.
Misidentification can be extremely expensive and although contractor's estimates may be in line with what you are looking to pay, it is possible this payment is for unnecessary repairs with little to no benefit of the underlying problem.
